Creative pattern cutting is the core of Nicky Cook Patterns. Every pattern created is bespoke and completed with precision, accuracy and flair whether your brand is innovative, trend driven or classic.

As brand identities evolve to become more inclusive of size, shape and gender, we respond quickly to the changing requirements of each client, adapting and amending patterns to keep up to date with every brand profile.

Sustainability and minimising waste during the process of garment development and manufacture is a key principle of what we do. Working collaboratively with every client we create patterns that are mindful of fabric and materials consumption and aim to achieve a minimal/zero waste cutting lay-plan while being conscious of the manufacturing costs of producing every style.

We use digital industry standard Vetigraph CAD software alongside traditional freehand cutting and draping techniques, allowing us to stay up to date with pattern cutting and fitting technology while maintaining the finesse that hands on skills and experience provide.

Quality assessments are an integral part of the process, ensuring that each pattern fulfils the client's design vision and meets the highest standards, thus streamlining the garment construction process.
